College Raptor names LC State as one of its top Northwest public Hidden Gem colleges

LEWISTON, Idaho – Lewis-Clark State College was named as one of the top public institutions in the West by College Raptor in its annual Hidden Gem rankings.

College Raptor is a leading college platform that helps families discover college matches driven by artificial intelligence algorithms to find the best colleges at the best price. College Raptor ranked the top three Hidden Gems in each Northwest state – Alaska, Washington, Oregon, northern California, Montana, and Idaho – and LC State was one of six public schools selected for the honor.

LC State’s selection is based on a combination of factors, including the number of applications received, graduation and retention rates, campus diversity, student-to-faculty ratio, median SAT/ACT scores for incoming freshmen, endowment per student, and other key metrics as reported by the National Center for Education Statistics.

“Finding hidden gem schools for students is core to how we help families discover great college choices,” Bill Staib, CEO of College Raptor, said. “We take pride in making it easy for students to make those connections through our Hidden Gems Rankings lists by highlighting excellent schools like LCSC.”
