LEWISTON, Idaho — Lewis-Clark State College’s Center for Arts & History (CAH) will host its annual Grape & Grain fundraising event on Friday, Oct. 10, from 6-9 p.m. at the center in downtown Lewiston.
The evening will celebrate the region’s vibrant art and craft beverage communities, featuring a curated selection of local wine and beer tastings.
Wine will be poured by Lindsay Creek Vineyards, Jovinea Cellars, Merry Cellars, and Clearwater Canyon Cellars. Riverport Brewing Company and Groundwork Brewing are pouring craft beer selections. These businesses offer guests a chance to experience a variety of locally produced beverages.
The event will include a gourmet charcuterie spread, and live piano music performed by current LC State student Karis Cole. Throughout the evening, interactive art demonstrations will be offered by artists Heidi Barnett, who explores organic pointillism, and Gwyn Pevonka, known for her intricately carved acrylic pieces. These live demonstrations provide a rare opportunity to engage directly with the artists and their creative processes.
All proceeds benefit CAH, helping to fund programming that creates meaningful engagement and learning opportunities for LC State and its students while serving the broader community.
This event is sponsored by McVey Entertainment Group, King Services, Regence, Gritman Medical Center, P1FCU, and LC State’s Business & Computer Science Division.
