LEWISTON, Idaho – Lewis-Clark State College's Workforce Training (WFT) program will hold a grand opening for its new location at 410 Main Street in downtown Lewiston on Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 5-7 p.m.
The event will give the general public an opportunity to tour the facility, which includes spaces available to rent for needs such as video conferencing, meetings, and other larger gatherings. Light appetizers will be served.
“LC State is proud to serve the crucial needs of north Idaho with programming that ranges from GED services to graduate degrees, as well as our high quality Workforce Training opportunities,” LC State President Cynthia Pemberton said. “This strategic relocation to downtown Lewiston will increase visibility and collaboration, and help us better support the workforce needs of our community, as well as create space for collaboration and innovation.”
Formally located in north Lewiston, Workforce Training’s new location is on the ground floor of Clearwater Hall, adjacent to the Small Business Development Center, Adult Learning Center, and the Center for Arts & History. The move is expected to make WFT’s many programs more visible and accessible to the community.
