LEWISTON, Idaho — Lewis-Clark State College Warrior Giving Day returns Tuesday under the theme “Lucky to be a Warrior” as the school goes green in the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day.
The LC State community, including alumni, friends, faculty, and staff, are invited to show their support for the institution and its students by making a donation. This campuswide fundraising effort will directly support students, school programs, and the future of the institution.
“Warrior Giving Day is one of my favorite events of the year,” said Jennie Jones Hall, college advancement director. “What makes it so special is that every gift, no matter the size, adds up to something much bigger than any one donation. Together, our donors create a real, meaningful impact for students and programs across LC State, and that's something worth celebrating. We really are lucky to be Warriors.”
This year’s event will run for a total of 1,893 minutes between Tuesday and Wednesday, a nod to the year LC State was founded.
The Warrior community is encouraged to stop by the P1FCU Activity Center between 7:30-11 a.m. Tuesday for complimentary coffee and doughnuts, and the campaign will officially get underway at 9 a.m.
As the fundraiser comes to a close, the community is invited to gather at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Center for Arts & History, 415 Main St. in downtown Lewiston, where visitors can join in on the event’s final countdown at 4:33 p.m.
Alumni and friends can sign up and learn more about the campaign’s custom challenges, matching opportunities, and special milestones at www.lcsc.edu/warriorgivingday.
