LEWISTON, Idaho – Fall Frenzy & Family Weekend will return Sept. 28-Oct. 3 at Lewis-Clark State College and feature special events to welcome alumni home to campus.
Warriors will ring in the new school year with games, a color run, volleyball, the annual shopping cart race, and more. Family Weekend events Oct. 2-3 are open to students, parents, alumni, and the community.
Fall Frenzy festivities get underway Sept. 28 with yard games from 6-8 p.m. at the Talkington Hall lawn, hosted by Residence Life and Intramurals.
LC State’s cheer and dance, volleyball, and cross country teams will lead a kick-off event starting at 5:15 p.m. Sept. 29 at the Student Union Building/Center for Student Leadership (SUB/CSL) amphitheater, followed by the annual shopping cart races.
Warriors Got Talent will begin at 7 p.m. Sept. 30 at the Silverthorne Theatre. Students will showcase their talents, with a panel of judges selecting the overall winner and attendees voting on a fan favorite.
On Oct. 1, the Warrior Entertainment Board will host a football watch party at 5:15 p.m. at the SUB/CSL. The event will feature football-themed food, bingo, and giveaways throughout the night.
LC State students will take on faculty and staff in a game of dodgeball at 1 p.m. Friday in the Auxiliary Gym, with the Associated Students of Lewis-Clark State College (ASLCSC) leading the student team.
Warrior fans, students, alumni, and the community can join the Warrior FanFest at 4 p.m. Oct. 2 in the Harris Field Breezeway, located between Harris Field and the P1FCU Activity Center. Attendees can participate in games, face painting, poster making, food, and more. Warrior athletic teams will be on site to sign posters, and prospective students can explore LC State programs during a fair-style event held alongside FanFest.
At 6 p.m. Oct. 2, the LC State volleyball team will play Bushnell University at the P1FCU Activity Center; a special family menu will be available at the concessions stand in celebration of Family Weekend. ASLCSC will give a $500 scholarship to a student at the match.
A color run and walk will begin at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 3 outside of Doks, with check-in beginning at 9:30 a.m. The run will take participants through campus, and refreshments will be available at the finish line.
A baseball scrimmage is scheduled for noon Oct. 3 against Gonzaga University, and is expected to be a good opportunity for alumni to reconnect as they are welcomed home to campus. A beer garden will be available for those 21 and older.
The Warrior volleyball team will play against Corban University at 4 p.m. Oct. 3 in the P1FCU Activity Center during 1K Day, where the school aims to surpass the 1,392 attendees recorded during last year’s Fall Frenzy & Family Weekend volleyball match. The Lewis-Clark State Foundation will give a $500 scholarship to a student at the match.
LC State welcomes alumni home to campus for the baseball and volleyball events to cheer on the Warriors, where attendees can enter for a chance to win exclusive alumni swag.
