LEWISTON, Idaho – The Lewis-Clark State College theatre program will perform “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” this month.
The musical by Clark Gesner is based on the characters from the “Peanuts” comic strip created by Charles M. Schulz. The LC State production is directed by theatre instructor Lane Richins, with musical direction by music professor Sarah Graham.
“Come join your favorite 'Peanuts' gang – Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, Sally, Schroeder, and, of course, Charlie Brown – as they journey through childhood and remind us what it is to be a kid at heart,” Richins said. “This production includes talent from throughout the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley, both from the college and the community. The show has an ensemble that will knock your socks off. ‘You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown’ is filled with humor and heart. Fun for all ages.”
Performances will be held at the Silverthorne Theatre on the LC State campus at 7 p.m. Nov. 6-7 and 13-14, with 2 p.m. matinees Nov. 8 and 15. All performances are free and open to the public.
