Lewis-Clark State College is accredited by the Northwest Commission on College and Universities.

The Radiographic Sciences Program received accreditation in May 2013 through the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). The JRCERT posts annual reports of Program Effectiveness for each accredited program on its website. JRCERT standards require that institutions post data measuring Program Effectiveness on their website where it can be easily viewed by the public.

Current accreditation status of the 8 year period will be up for review for the Second Quarter of 2024.

*Definitions:
  • Completion Rate: Number of students completing the program / total number originally accepted into the program. There is no distinction between students who failed and students who decided to change majors for any reason.
  • Examination Pass Rate: Percentage of graduates who passed the ARRT National Exam on their first attempt.
  • Job Placement Rate: Defined by JRCERT as the number of graduates employed in the radiologic sciences compared to the number of graduates actively seeking employment in the radiologic sciences. JRCERT has defined not actively seeking employment as: 1) graduate fails to communicate with program officials regarding employment status after multiple attempts, 2) graduate is unwilling to seek employment that requires relocation, 3) graduate is unwilling to accept employment due to salary or hours, 4) graduate is on active military duty, and/or 5) graduate is continuing education.

The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) follows due process upon receipt of a written, signed complaint containing allegations which indicate that an accredited program, or program seeking accreditation, may not be in substantial compliance with the relevant accreditation standards or may not follow JRCERT accreditation policies.
