Orientation Students

New Student Orientation & Welcome Week

COVID-19 Update:  LC State continues to monitor, assess and respond to developments associated with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.  This includes evaluating the status of events, activities and other public gatherings and rescheduling, postponing or canceling as appropriate.  We are currently planning on two live orientation programs in Lewiston and will also offer an online program for those who miss them.  Our Coeur d’Alene students will enjoy an online orientation program.  For additional details about our Fall 2020 semester, please visit /communications/coronavirus.

If students or guests have exhibited any of the following symptoms 72 hours prior to New Student Orientation, students will be asked to participate in the online orientation program:

  • Had a fever or chills
  • Had a persisting cough
  • Experienced a shortness of breath or had difficulty breathing
  • Experienced a new loss of taste or smell
  • Had other symptoms of ill health (e.g., sore throat, body aches, fatigue, headache)
  • Had contact with someone who had a confirmed case of COVID-19 or had symptoms of an illness

The purpose of orientation is to ensure new students are provided with the information to make a smooth and successful transition to our campus community.  At orientation we seek to inform our students while making them feel welcome and appreciated.

Spring 2021 New Student Orientation is January 15, 2021.

Check Back for Updates.
