Portfolio Assessments

A Portfolio is an assessment of your prior work/life experience through written documentation from which you have developed sufficient college-level learning to earn credit for a specific class.

What is a portfolio

A portfolio is an organizational tool that lets you showcase the college-level learning you've gained from real-world experience. A portfolio can be used to provide the evidence of your learning and request credit for a specific class or, in some cases, for general elective credits.

This option is a great fit if you've learned through hands-on experiences — like starting or running a business, managing a big project, or volunteering long-term with a community organization.

Earn Credits for What You Know
