About
LC State’s art minor helps students develop visual literacy and cultivate analytical thinking. In hands-on studio courses, students build technical skills while learning the vocabulary and ideas behind art criticism and aesthetics.
An art minor pairs well with almost any major:
- Business or marketing students learn how to use design and visual storytelling for campaigns or presentations.
- Communication or graphic design students learn how to sharpen content, layout, and design.
- Psychology students learn how to understand culture, expression or human behavior.
- All majors learn how to value creative problem-solving and visual communication.
The minor requires 21 art credits.
