Programs and Special Events
We offer a few different programs for players to be able to have a regular tennis schedule that will bring more consistency to their game while creating bonds with the people in the area. We also plan special events to offer fun group activities, and we are open for you to create your own!
Programs
COVID Update: Protocols have been lifted.
We just ask that if you have symptoms, that you
refrain from playing with any groups/events.
Playing Groups
These provide an avenue to play in a fun, friendly atmosphere. They are all nice people in these groups:
- Weekday AM Group: 7 - 8:15AM Monday-Friday. Please contact the office to get your name on the call list. The organizer will coordinate with you the day before actual play.
- Senior AM Group: 9 - 11AM Monday, Wednesday & Fridays. Email for info: [email protected]
- Mixed-Up Doubles: 6 - 8PM Thursdays. Call (208) 792-2309 for a spot
Ladder
A singles tennis ladder will run for eight weeks in the Fall and eight weeks in the Spring. They start in September and January respectively, but you're more than welcome to join the league anytime! Typically this is held one time per week for approximately 7-10 weeks, depending on the participants.
Most matches are scheduled at 6:15PM unless other provisions are requested.
Match dates are usually: Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday evenings and weekends. Although, other times/dates can be available if someone has special requests.

Special Events
Tournaments
These are our long tradition tennis tournaments, consider joining for some great competition and fun!
- Fazzari's Tennis Championships:
The longest running tennis tournament in the LC Valley (this will be the 33rd year) will take place over three weekends in late August (and into September) for Juniors and Adults of all skill levels.
The t-shirts will not be available until September. They will be mailed to those residing out of the LC Valley.

LINK TO LIVE STREAMS and RECORDINGS - FFF Black Friday - White Saturday Doubles - Nov 24-25 2023
The Black Friday event is for juniors. There is a dress code for predominantly black attire.
The White Saturday event is open to high school age and above participants. The dress code is predominantly white attire. These are fun events offered for the folks who are not into shopping or to engage in activity after indulgence in Thanksgiving feasting.

BLACK FRIDAY - WHITE SATURDAY DOUBLES FLYER - Annual Tennis Marathon: "Fund raiser event" that lasts a full day. Play with and against the current Warriors! The date will be announced once it is determined.

Field Trips
The LCSC Tennis Team members will conduct a complimentary hour long tennis session for the visiting school students. School officials can contact us for scheduling a time (208) 792-2309.
Tennis Parties
Tennis parties are a new event originally organized by our own LCSC Tennis Team members for other students and friends of them to come play.
