We've been around since 1975 because we have been blessed with tremendous support from the tennis community in the region.

The LCSC Tennis Center is located on the Lewis-Clark State College campus. It's one of the earliest indoor college tennis facilities built in the Pacific Northwest. It has four heated hard courts and a newly constructed entry way in Dec 2015. The courts are open to the community for a nominal usage fee.

First built in 1975 and for ten years, operated as The Valley Racquet Club, a for-profit private club. In 1985, the college assumed operations of the facility. Former coaches who have helped shape the Tennis Center to where it is now include, Rich Hills, Michael Whitney, Brian Loomis, Ken Azbill, Sunny Jones, Bob Wagstaff and Bob Wehde. All the past and current coaches were hired during the era of former LCSC President, Dr. Lee Vickers. Lee and his wife Deanna, are still avid tennis players in the Phoenix area.
