About Fatema Islam

Dr. Meem is a computer science and cybersecurity educator and researcher with interests in building safer and more reliable technology. She currently teaches at Lewis-Clark State College and the University of Idaho, while continuing her research in cybersecurity and formal verification. Her research interests include Information Security, System Security, IoT Security, Formal Verification, and Adversarial Machine Learning. She enjoys teaching, mentoring, research, and collaborating with others to develop practical solutions to security challenges. She is also the Founder & Principal Security Consultant of HackHop, a cybersecurity training and consulting initiative focused on hands-on security education, mentoring, and practical security support for individuals and organizations.

She is open to research collaborations. If you are interested in working together, feel free to reach out. Outside of academics, she enjoys cooking and traveling.
