How much and when will I get paid?

CH 33 (Post 9/11 GI Bill®) Recipients

All coursework must align with an approved program. Tuition and Fees will be sent directly to the school. Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA) is for a 30 day month and will be paid after the month of attendance. Partial Months will be paid at a prorated rate. MHA Rates are based on the zip code of the institution. Books/Supplies are up to $1,000./year and should be paid 15 days prior to the start of the semester. Rates effective 09OCT2023. MHA rates can be found at https://www.defensetravel.dod.mil/site/bah.cfm.
