Getting Started

Complete the Admissions Process

The online application takes about 10-15 minutes to complete and is free to submit! You will create a Be a Warrior account to complete the online application. With your Be a Warrior account you will be able to log back in any time to complete the online application, upload admission documents, and check your application status.

If you graduated from high school, ask your high school to send your official transcript to the LC State Admissions Office at [email protected] or 500 8th Avenue Lewiston, ID 83501

If you received your GED, official scores need to be sent directly from the GED Testing Service.

Please include military transcripts, if applicable. Also, feel free to check out our Office of Veterans' Services for more resources.

If you have attended other colleges:

Official transcripts must arrive in a sealed envelope or in official electronic format from the issuing institution. Please have the transcript sent to LC State Admissions at [email protected] or 500 8th Avenue Lewiston, ID 83501. Photocopies of records are not official. Official transcripts must include your full name, institution, grade points, credits, and grade point average. They must be marked official and include a key.

Please allow up to three weeks for the Registrar and Records Office to complete an official evaluation of your general education coursework. If you have questions about the evaluation process, please contact the Registrar and Records Office at [email protected] or (208) 792-2223.

*You can be tentatively admitted off unofficial or working transcripts. Unofficial transcripts may be sent to [email protected]. Unofficial college transcripts must include your full name, institution, grade points, credits, and grade point average. Working transcripts indicate you are currently enrolled in classes. After your grades and/or degree are posted, you will need to have official transcripts sent to the Admissions Office. Full admission will be granted once we receive all official transcripts.

Academic Students: Test scores are not required for admission purposes, but it is recommended that you take the LC State Placement Exams for course registration.

Register for Classes

First-year students need to sign up to attend STAR (Student Advising and Registration) to get your first semester of classes selected.

You will meet with an advisor before you register for your courses. To find out who your advisor is you will need to reach out to your division.

How to Register:

  1. Be certain that you have all holds cleared. Students with holds (Library, Security, etc.) will not be allowed to register.
  2. Meet with your academic advisor. Once you have been advised, your advisor will ‘release’ an electronic hold that will allow you to access Web registration.
  3. Log on to WarriorWeb and complete the Conditions of Registration.
  4. Access Student Planning in WarriorWeb.

If you experience technical difficulty (logins, passwords, etc.) contact the Helpdesk at 208-792-2231. If you have concerns regarding content (credits, courses, etc.), contact the Registrar and Records Office at [email protected] or 208-792-2223.
