Stay on Track to Graduate

“15 to Finish” students are encouraged to take 15 credits each semester. Completing 15 credits per semester can help you complete your bachelor’s degree in four years or associate’s degree in 2 years.

Every student’s situation is different. Work with your academic advisor to create a course schedule that fits your degree requirements, academic goals, work, family, and other responsibilities.

Most bachelor's degrees require 120 credits and associate degrees require 60 credits. Taking 12 credits a semester means a four-year degree takes five years, while 15 credits keeps students on a true two- or four-year track.
