Why LC State?  The community and small class sizes!

Favorite LC State Event: My favorite event was the volleyball games at the beginning of the semester. I love the energy that comes with new students each year!

Major: Exercise Science

Interests: Cheerleading, agriculture, health, and fitness

Why LC State? I was able to continue cheerleading at the collegiate level. LC State also offers an amazing program for my educational path while still being close to home!

Favorite LC State Event: My favorite event was Movie on the Lawn because it was a fun way to meet new people, and my whole team was there to kick off the year!

Major: Secondary Education: Mathematics

Hometown: Clarkston, WA

Interests: Teaching, reading, playing sports, and card/board games.

Why LC State? LC State is right for me because I thrive in small class sizes, the education program is outstanding, and I still get to stay close to home!

Favorite LC State Event: New Student Orientation is my favorite because I get to meet and talk with so many new people throughout the day.

Interests: Playing and watching tennis and other sports, binge-watching TV shows and anime.

Why LC State? The LC State community has been incredibly welcoming and supportive.

Favorite LC State Event: Volleyball and basketball games are my favorites, and I never miss an event with free food, snacks, or candy!

Why LC State? LC State has provided me with many opportunities and has given me a space to grow as an individual. It also fosters a close-knit community that is always there to support you.

Favorite LC State Event: Art Under the Elms—great entertainment, vendors, and food trucks!

Interests: I’m into politics, world geography, music (R&B and rap), reading, Hamilton, and anything that gives an adrenaline rush.

Why LC State? It’s affordable, small, and full of opportunities for everyone.

Favorite LC State Event: The Glow Party, because I love to dance!

Why LC State? LC State is right for me because it's in a great location and offers so many amazing programs and majors.

Why LC State? After attending another school, I realized a smaller campus like LC State was a much better fit. Seeing familiar faces everywhere makes it easy to build connections and friendships.

Favorite LC State Event: I enjoyed Art Under the Elms this year.

Why LC State? I enjoy the small-town community vibe, small class sizes, and friendly campus atmosphere.

Favorite LC State Event: I really enjoy the intramural sports and I'm x2 champion of Iron Warrior. Intramural sports provide a fun, friendly environment for students of all skill levels.

Why LC State? LC State has a beautiful campus, affordable tuition, kind and helpful staff, and an amazing community with lots of fun activities.

Favorite LC State Event: Crafternoons let you express your  creativity, and Valentine's Week events are always fun.

Interests: Dance Team, fishing, cars, music, and Red Bull

Why LC State? LC State is right for me because of the close-knit community on campus and throughout the Lewis-Clark Valley.

Favorite LC State Event: Whitewater rafting was an amazing opportunity to spend time with friends while meeting new people.

Interests: Being outdoors, competing in triathlons, reading, and watching movies.

Why LC State? I love that I’m a name, not just a number here, and the small class sizes and personal connections with professors and staff have made a huge difference.

Favorite LC State Event: Parents Weekend and Art Under the Elms are my favorites because I love showing off my school and everything I’ve accomplished.

Interests: I love everything music-related—playing, singing, listening, and writing—plus video games, and poetry.

Why LC State? The small community helped me build strong relationships with my peers and faculty while pursuing opportunities that interest me.

Favorite LC State Event: Basketball and volleyball games are my favorites because rallying together with other students is so much fun.

Why LC State? After attending a larger university that wasn't the right fit, I transferred to LC State after hearing wonderful things from friends. It was a great decision, and the education program is fantastic!

Favorite LC State Event: Sporting events are my favorite because they're a great way to recharge and connect with other students.

Favorite LC State Event: The Warrior Talent Show is always fun because students come together to cheer each other on.

Why LC State? LC State is close to family and has one of the best education programs in the state. 

Favorite LC State Event: I love the paint party, Warriors on Wheels Car Show, and Art Under the Elms every year.

Why LC State? I chose LC State because of its small student-to-professor ratio and the support it provides students.

Favorite LC State Event: I really enjoyed Destination LC because it gave me a great preview of what to expect during my first semester.

Interests: I enjoy reading, baking, hiking, and spending time with family.

Why LC State? I chose LC State because it’s a small school with a top nursing program, great one-on-one interactions with professors, and has fun, engaging events.
