LC State graduation ceremonies moved inside P1FCU Activity Center

LEWISTON, Idaho – Due to a forecast of rain and the potential for wet conditions, Lewis-Clark State College will move its three Friday, May 13, commencement ceremonies, planned to be held outdoors at Harris Field, inside the P1FCU Activity Center. College administrators announced the decision on Wednesday.

There will still be three ceremonies, one for each of LC State’s schools, and they will be held at the previously scheduled times:

  • 9 a.m. – Career & Technical Education (Technical & Industrial and Business Technology & Service Divisions)
  • Noon – Liberal Arts & Sciences (Physical Life, Movement & Sport Sciences, Humanities, and Social Sciences Divisions)
  • 3 p.m. – Professional Studies (Business & Computer Science, Nursing & Health Sciences, and Teacher Education & Mathematics Divisions)

The event is open to the general public and will also be streamed live. Updated details and streaming information will be posted at www.lcsc.edu/graduation.

Lewis-Clark State will award 823 degrees and certificates during the ceremonies. Of the 715 graduating students, close to 500 are expected to walk.
