This degree teaches the skillset required for a variety of accounting positions such as accounting manager, bookkeeper, financial specialist, payroll technician, accounts receivable technician, accounts payable technician, and many others. These positions are needed in all business sizes and types across industries.
Individuals trained at this technical level become nationally certified as professional bookkeepers by the AIPB (American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers). Because of great increase in demand, they have become very important positions in businesses nationwide.
