Students in the teacher education program will learn:

• How to pair content-area expertise with effective pedagogy in your chosen subject.
• Collaborative lesson planning and curriculum design alongside faculty and partner-school teachers.
• Classroom management and instruction through field experience in secondary classrooms.
• Preparation for the performance assessments required for endorsement.

This undergraduate course of study leads to an endorsement in a secondary education content area and is intended for students earning their bachelor's degree while attending the majority of classes on the Lewiston campus.
