Theatre is a discipline built on collaboration, a skill in high demand among employers. No production comes together without actors, directors, designers, and crew all working toward the same vision.

Through performance and production, students improve their communication skills, learn to work as a team, and build confidence.

Students will learn:

• Acting technique, character development, and stage presence.
• Play analysis and theater history across periods and traditions.
• Technical theater skills, including set design, lighting, and sound.
• Directing and production management through hands-on work on campus productions.
• Collaboration and communication skills that transfer to any team-based career.

The theatre minor requires 22 credits of coursework and pairs well with any major.
