Chair Nominees

Jack DeWenter
I am currently the Assistant Controller with over five years of experience in higher education, financial analysis, and strategic planning. I have my MBA in Finance and Master of Accountancy while also holding the CMA & SEER certifications. I am currently working towards my CPA license and preparing to start the tests this fall. My wife and I have two children, Natalie and Nathan. In my spare time, I like to work out, walk my dog, work on home projects, and do jigsaw puzzles with my daughter.
Vice-Chair Nominees

Doug Cruthirds
Doug has been a part of the LC community since 2015, initially serving as a dedicated student advisor and business instructor before stepping into his current role as the director of workforce training. Throughout his tenure, Doug has been actively involved in numerous campus committees, contributing his expertise and passion to various initiatives. Doug is committed to enhancing non-monetary benefits and training opportunities for our community, and his continued dedication promises to bring about positive changes for all.
Recording Secretary/Treasurer Nominees

Robert (Rob) G. McDonald
I started as an instructor in the Manufacturing program in August of Y2K. I served for 22 years teaching machining and CAD drafting. I retired with Emeritus status but flunked “retirement” and rejoined the staff at LC State as the Adult Learning Program Coordinator. My boss is Dovie Willey, Adult and Corrections Education Director, and I have enjoyed working with her, learning many new aspects of campus life. My superpower is converting people’s work experience into college credits.
I feel I am a questionable candidate for the role, as I sometimes tend to lose focus while in meetings. However, I am good with spreadsheets, so I should be able to balance the checkbook.
Digital Communications

Tiffany Pilon
I've been in my current role as Director of the Healthcare Education Center for just over a year. Before that, I spent around 9 years as the Program Advisor for the Nursing & Health Sciences Division. A major part of my job is advising students and helping them apply to our programs. I also meet with campus visitors and tour groups wanting to see our state-of-the-art learning labs. I'm heavily involved with marketing and recruitment as well as communications and outreach for the division. I maintain the NHS and HEC websites and serve as the co-chair for the BSN Advising, Admission & Progression Subcommittee.
