Educator of the Year

Created in 1996, this award recognizes superior achievement in the field of education by an alumnus/alumna in the classroom, school and/or district as demonstrated through their time, actions, talent, and dedication. The recipient can be an educator at the primary or secondary level (teacher, principal, superintendent) or at the collegiate level. The recipient serves as a role model and sets standards of excellence to which others can aspire.

Consideration will be given to alumni for their; commitment to student engagement and empowerment, demonstrated excellence and impact in the education field, professional and/or community service and the ability to inspire learning.
