Why LC State? LC State is right for me because I have been able to make such amazing connections with everyone on campus. I've been given countless amazing opportunities to better my education, my experiences, and my life in general. I love having one-on-one time with my professors and advisors and I feel cared about by all of the staff and students. LC State is perfect for me!

Favorite LC State Tradition: My favorite LC State events that I have been to have been the Paint Party, Shopping Cart Races, and Warriors Got Talent because I am a part of helping set up for those events and I love to be able to bring so much fun to our campus for all of the students to enjoy.

Why LC State? I was looking for a small school with a good community feel. I also wanted somewhere that was not super far from home, but still a decent distance.

Favorite LC State Tradition: My favorite LC State tradition is the potluck for the education students and professors. It's a great way to make friends with people in my field.

Interests: I love to play card games with my family and friends. My favorite is speed, and I am the best at it! I also love to go camping and to the beach.

Why LC State? LC was right for me because it has a great education program and has given me the best education for my major.

My favorite LC State Tradition is the cart races during Homecoming. Each team gets to decorate a shopping cart before racing, and lots of people attend and participate in the event.

Favorite LC State Tradition: The Residence Life events. They're a little smaller but give a chance to connect to others.

Why LC State? LC State is right for me because of the location. It is still in state but far enough from home to have a good college experience.

Favorite LC State Tradition: I love attending sporting events at LC State because it's amazing to see how the students come together to support each other.

Favorite LC State Tradition: My favorite event would have to be hiking with your professors! I enjoyed this because it was nice to see your professors outside of class in a casual fun environment!

Favorite LC State Tradition: The LCSC paint party was one of the first events of the year. It was a great way to spend time with my roommates and build those connections.

Interests: Playing Volleyball, being with family and friends, traveling, going to the lake, and paddle boarding.

Why LC State? LC State was the right fit for me because it was a small college where I felt I could connect with all my professors. I fell in love with the campus, and it’s also the perfect distance from home. I get the freedom but can come home whenever I’m homesick.

Favorite LC State Tradition: During the Spring Student Market (that WEB puts on), there was a flower bouquet-making event, you got to pick out your own flowers and make a really cute bouquet. This was one of my favorite events because I've always wanted to try making bouquets and unlock my inner florist but never have and it was something I want to do again.

Major: Biology

Hometown: Rathdrum, ID

Interests: Hiking, fishing, kayaking, camping, Disc Golfing, drawing, gaming, watching movies after a long day of studying, taking care of animals (of all kinds), paleontology, botany, wildlife and forestry.

Why LC State? LC was the perfect distance from home where I could experience life on my own, but if I needed to fall back on family I absolutely could. Also, Snake River and hiking at Hells Gate State Park isn't too far away. LC also offers inexpensive education and small class sizes which means I can get the personalized help I need.

Favorite LC State Tradition: All of the events on campus get people connected, and offer a sense of pride in school sports that is unmatched anywhere else. Homecoming is one of my favorite events to attend and cannot wait for next years events!
