NWCCU Reports
Program Assessment and Planning
Every year, programs undergo self-review
- The Unit Assessment Report (UAR) in which key performance indicators (KPI) are reviewed and assessed. Programs/units explain their performance achievements as well as areas for improvement.
- The Resource Request Form (RRF) in which institutional dollars are requested. Any resource requests should be tied to programs' objectives, outcome indicators, Presidential Priorities, or be justified such as for repairs, replacement or upgrades.
- Program Performance (also referred to as program prioritization) is a third form of assessment that takes place among all units of campus. Instructional programs underwent program performance review during spring 2020. Non-instructional programs underwent a program performance review during spring 2021. Programs are engaging in the action plans resulting from that review.
We reviewed our assessment processes overall during FY 2021. Unit Assessment Reports are to be submitted at least every three years, or on a rotation determined by the unit. This will allow us to realign our assessment towards the new standards of the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU - our campus-wide accreditor).
