Financial Aid for Graduate Students

Students in LC State's Graduate Certificate Programs may be eligible for Title IV funding.

Available Aid

  • Must complete a FAFSA at studentaid.gov.
  • Must be enrolled at least half-time (5 or more credits) each semester.
  • Maximum annual loan amount is $20,500 (cannot exceed total cost of attendance).
  • Fixed interest rate for the 2023-2024 academic year is 7.05%.
  • A 1.057% loan fee is proportionately deducted from each loan disbursement.

  • Must complete a FAFSA at studentaid.gov.
  • Must be enrolled at least half-time (5 or more credits) a semester.
  • Must not have an adverse credit history. A credit check will be conducted at the time of application. If you have an adverse credit history, you may still qualify if you meet additional requirements.
  • Maximum loan amount is the total cost of attendance minus any other financial aid received.
  • Fixed interest rate for the 2023-2024 academic year is 8.05%.
  • A 4.228% loan fee is proportionately deducted from each loan disbursement.

  • Application process is completed directly through lender's website.
