Employees eligible for benefits are defined by the Office of Group Insurance (OGI) as those who work twenty (20) hours or more per week and whose term of employment is expected to exceed five (5) consecutive months.

Our employees enjoy 11 paid-holidays, vacation and sick leave accrual, 8 weeks paid parental leave, 12 weeks FMLA coverage, volunteer release time, and more. In addition, employees may donate up to 80 hours of sick or vacation leave to a benefit-eligible employee who has exhausted all their sick and vacation leave!

LC State provides a robust professional development program and encourages our employees to continue connecting learning to life. We also offer a generous tuition discount which includes $5 per credit for employees at all Idaho public institutions, as well as 50 percent off of tuition for dependent children up to age 26 here at LC State.
