Surplus Property
LC State posts available surplus property on the State Board of Examiners website in compliance with State Board of Examiners Policy 442-30.
To maximize the value received by the State of Idaho with the attendant benefits to the citizens, it is the policy of the State of Idaho to offer surplus state personal property for acquisition by others. These include State of Idaho, county or local agencies as well as Board of Examiners authorized charitable organizations, persons or entities that participate in special programs with a State of Idaho agency. Such surplus property may be acquired through donation, transfer or sale.

LC State may sell surplus property to the public following public advertisement, through a variety of methods, including but not limited to:
Receipt of written competitive bids in response to the public advertisement.
An online electronic auction platform, such as Public Surplus.
