FAFSA

1) Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

You are not required to submit a FAFSA. If you would like to see if you are eligible for any Federal Grants (which don't count against you GI Bill® benefits, nor do they have to be paid back) or any Loans (Subsidized or Unsubsidized) you will need to complete the FAFSA.

Send Enrollment Certification Form

2) Send Enrollment Certification Form to the Coordinator of Veterans' Services.

This will be done when you are approved for GI Bill® benefits and registered for classes. When we get this we will go over your class schedule and make sure your class align with your degree plan and certify your semester through the VA.

All GI Bill® recipients need to have paid in full by the 5th day of classes (First Friday is classes start on a Monday or the Monday following if classes start on Tuesday) or have a payment plan set up through Student Accounts.

CH 33 (Post 9/11 GI Bill®) Recipients

  • Your tuition will be sent directly to the school.
  • Your attendance will be verified the first week of classes. When this is done your tuition will be released to your student account.
  • If you weren't certified within 30 days to the start of the semester there's a good chance your tuition won't be at the school in time therefore you will need to set up a payment plan.
  • Notify Veteran's Services of any change in your class schedule. This could effect your tuition and benefits.

Ch 30 and 1606 (Montgomery GI Bill®) Recipients

  • You will need to set up a payment plan through Student Accounts.
  • You will need to attend class and verify your attendance through WAVE on the last day of every month.
  • Notify Veteran's Services of any change in your class schedule. This could effect your benefits.

CH 35 (Dependent's Educational Assistance) Recipients

  • Notify Veteran's Services of any change in your class schedule. This could effect your benefits.
