    LC State to receive Orchid Award for historic preservation of CAH

    For the fourth time in the past nine years, Lewis-Clark State College has received an award for its historic preservation of a campus building through renovation or remodeling. College officials received notice this week that The Historic Preservation Commission, under the city of Lewiston, selected the college’s Center for Arts & History (CAH) for an Orchid Award for 2022.

    LC State’s Chilson receives IACBE Service Award

    Fred Chilson, the new provost and vice president for Academic Affairs at Lewis-Clark State College, recently received the Dr. John L. Green Service Award from the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) at its recent annual conference in Costa Mesa, Calif., in early April.

    NCCC picks Avista NAIA World Series as one of its service projects

    The Lewis-Clark State College athletic department has received notification that the Avista NAIA World Series was chosen by the AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) as one of its service projects for 2022. LC State will have nine AmeriCorps team members involved with the Series.

    The Lewis-Clark State College Counseling Center is holding a Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on April 20 at 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the college’s library parking lot, near the campus entrance at 7th Avenue and 5th Street.
