We are proud to share the wide variety of scholarly and creative activity that faculty in the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences engage in. All of it has strengthened the quality of programs we offer at Lewis-Clark State College. We are particularly appreciative, however, of how long the list is of faculty-student collaborations. These experiences are truly transformative for our students.
Faculty scholarship supports good teaching and enriches student learning.
Faculty participation in scholarship ensures that classroom teaching is current and relevant, informs program assessment and improvement, contributes to disciplinary knowledge, models professional practice to students, and provides opportunities for students to engage in mentored research.
