Late Stays and Early Arrivals
Late Stays
Students who need to stay late after dorms close each semester, in December and May, are required to submit a late stay application. Late stays are approved on a limited basis and are granted for students who have a reason to stay late, but is mostly limited to athletics or travel restrictions. A majority of students are required to move out by noon of the last day of the semester. Anyone in the halls, unauthorized, at the end of the semester may be charged a $100/hour fee.
Students staying in the halls after semester acknowledge that they will abide by the Residence Life Policies, Student Code of Conduct, and State and Federal laws. There is also a strict no guest policy in place. Any infractions will result in the immediate termination of the approval to stay late and the tenant will be removed from the halls.
Late Stay Application - Opens mid-fall and mid-spring semesters. Closes the Wednesday 9 days prior to the end of the semester.
Early Arrivals
Students who need to arrive prior to the halls opening for semester, must apply to do so. Early arrivals are approved on a very limited basis, and for only a few reasons. Early arrivals are charged a $30/day fee, unless the early arrival is approved on a college related basis.
Students staying in the halls prior to semester acknowledge that they will abide by the Residence Life Policies, Student Code of Conduct, and State and Federal laws. There is also a strict no guest policy in place. Any infractions will result in the immediate termination of the approval to stay and the tenant will be removed from the halls.
Early Arrival Request - Opens June 10 and November 10 for Fall and Spring semesters. Closes each semester on move-in day.
